The electricity passes through a closed loop. We can form a closed loop using four fingers like square, rectangle, heart and etc. I did project using an alkaline battery, a small bulb, alligator clips and wires. connect one end of the battery using wire and alligator clips to one end of the bulb. Same way the other end of the bulb to the other end of the battery. The bulb shines brightly because of a closed loop and the electricity passes through the loop.
The battery has two ends. one end +ve, the other end -ve, the battery voltage is 1.5 volt D.C, the brand name is energizer which was made in singapore. The positive end of the battery can be identified by marking or bulged end and the other is a flat end which is negative. Bulb has 2 ends, inside the bulb there are filament which looks like a spring through which the light shines when the electricity passes.
The above principle are used in house wiring using bulbs switched and wires.
